Paperkite Reader ("the App") transforms PDF documents into a comfortable, reflowed reading experience. This policy explains what data the App handles and how it is protected.
When you use the App, the following data is transmitted to our server solely for the purpose of converting your PDF into a readable format:
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, location, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
Uploaded PDFs are processed on our server to extract and reflow text content. The resulting reader-friendly output is sent back to the App on your device. Your files are used exclusively for this conversion and for no other purpose.
Uploaded PDFs and processing artifacts are automatically deleted from our server after the converted content has been delivered to your device. Server-side cleanup runs automatically, and no long-term copies of your files are retained.
The App does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising networks, or tracking services. No data is shared with or sold to third parties.
All communication between the App and our server is encrypted using HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect data during processing and transmission.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
